Tax releases his brand new single titled “Shots” produced by Trooh Hippi (credits. Skepta, Kojey Radical& more)
This release is ahead of his mixtape “Trill Tuesday Szn 2” which will be available on all streaming platforms on 24/07/20. Shots is a high energy lyrical display.
The single starts with flare and develops into a skippy track with a penetrating flow, where Tax displays his intricate delivery that goes smoothly over Trooh Hippi’s edgy production.
Tax formerly known as ‘Intact’ first joined the UK music scene as a grime artist in 2009 and by 2011 had evolved into a strong writer with a diverse arsenal of styles and soon had the UK scene asking him for more and more…In 2011 Tax released his first official single ‘Think’ — under the name Intact that took the Channel AKA charts by storm knocking off Lethal Bizzle 2011 Pow Remix which had the number 1 spot for 6 weeks running. Think went to hold the number 1 spot on the AKA charts for another 2 weeks which had Tax seen by hundreds of thousands of viewers across the country.
A few months later Tax released his second video on Channel AKA which solidified him in the scene at the time, known as “Where U From Brudda?”. A year later Tax was called up for a role within the BBC Three Film titled “My Murder” starring John Boyega to have his song “Where u from Brudda?” feature in the movie, in addition to writing a new song for the movie with Tiny and producer/songwriter Mazza (Credits Giggs, K-Trap, 6ix7even & more), co-write lyrics for John Boyega’s rap piece and make a small cameo performance in the film.
